Scotland saved the Commonwealth Games following the withdrawal of Victoria, Australia. Commonwealth Games Scotland and Glasgow 2026 stepped up with a proposal for a slimmed down version, which may just keep the former Empire Games relevant ahead of its centenary in 2030.

We worked with organisers to confirm the dates, sports and venues for the Games in July 2026, and also the new Glasgow CEO Phil Batty. We shared the content with our commercial radio contacts across the UK, and produced special versions of the podcast.
